Christmas 2020
Christmas Past
As we were unable to invite you all into school this Christmas to share in the celebrations, here are a just a few reminders of Christmas' past - see which of them you can remember!
Jolly Jumper Day
We all looked very festive today in our Christmas jumpers. Everyone brought in a donation and together we raised £377. We plan to split the money and donate it to NHS, The Customs House and The Salvation Army.
Christmas Greetings
This year things have been a very different in school. We were all very sad to hear that we would be unable to do a Nativity for our grown-ups, but we still wanted to do something special for them. After putting on our thinking hats for a bit we realised that , while we couldn't sing we could sign! We have worked really hard over the last few weeks to learn how to sign traditional Christmas songs using B.S.L (British Sign Language).
Each day this week two year groups will publish their special Christmas greeting to their families. We hope that you enjoy them.

As we left school on Friday evening we were trilled to be met by a fantastic brass band featuring our very own Mrs Malcom and Mrs Wilkinson.
Together with their husbands and friends they played some of our favourite Christmas Carols. It was a lovely surprise for both children, staff and parents.
The children were surprised by some special visitors today.
Santa couldn't bring his reindeer so Maggie stepped into the role.
Our Christmas 2020 celebrations started with a challenge from the School Council. They asked for photographs of the children's Christmas trees to brighten up our Face Book and website pages. As you can see by the photos below we have had a really good response. Twinkling trees and sparkling smiles, its beginning to feel a lot like Christmas!
